Clinics with many HMO patients

For a clinic that needs to know what each HMO still owes it.

With many HMO patients, most of the work comes after the visit, splitting each bill and following up each claim until the HMO pays. Stator splits the bill when it's made and keeps every claim on one page.

Where the HMO work piles up

The patient's part and the HMO's part get worked out by hand at the desk. The claims go out in a spreadsheet that has to match the visits, and when an HMO pays, someone has to find which claims the money was for.

Each HMO, set up once

The admin adds each HMO with what it covers. Prices can differ by HMO, and each patient's HMO and member number sit on their record.

When the desk books a visit, it marks the visit as HMO, so everyone knows how it will be paid.

Visits billed the same day

The desk bills every visit that happened today from Visits not yet billed. An HMO patient's invoice splits into what the scheme covers and what the patient owes, and the desk takes only the patient's part.

The patient's share, paid like any bill

The patient's part is paid by cash, transfer or POS, with a receipt number, and part payments leave the balance on the invoice.

If the HMO rejects a claim, marking it rejected moves the balance to the patient.

Every claim on one page

The insurance page shows each HMO's pending claims, what it owes and how old its oldest claim is. Mark a claim paid when the money comes in, with the amount and the date.

At the end of the month, pick the HMO and the month, and export its claims as a spreadsheet (in beta).

Tell us which HMOs you work with, and we'll show you the claims page on a demo clinic.
