About Stator

Records software built around how physiotherapy clinics in Nigeria work.

Stator keeps a clinic's bookings, clinical notes, home visits, bills and patient app in one place, under the clinic's own name. Stator Health runs it for each clinic, and Adewumi Studio builds it.

Who runs Stator, and who builds it

Stator Health Ltd provides Stator and runs the service for each clinic. Adewumi Studio, a software studio in Lagos, builds and maintains the software, and its people look after the servers and the nightly backups for us.

We also set up each new clinic ourselves: its name and logo, its price list, the staff logins and a printed guide for each role. After that, the clinic's staff reach the same people on WhatsApp, by phone or by email.

What we believe

  1. Software should fit how clinics here run

Clinics here take bookings on WhatsApp, treat patients at home and bill HMOs. Records software for them should handle all three without a workaround.

  2. Physios work from a phone

Between patients, or at a patient's house, a physio has a phone in their hand. Every screen a physio uses in Stator works on one.

  3. The clinic's name goes on everything

Patients see the clinic's name, logo and colours in their app, on receipts and in emails. Ours stays small.

  4. The records belong to the clinic

A clinic's patient records are the clinic's. We hold them to run Stator for that clinic, and its admin can download them as spreadsheets at any time (in beta).

How we work with a clinic

A walkthrough first, then a week of set-up. How a clinic starts with Stator

What we don't do

Clinical advice

Stator doesn't tell a physio how to treat a patient. The physio decides, and Stator keeps the record.

Selling or advertising with records

We don't sell patient records, and we don't use them for advertising.

Stator is provided by Stator Health Ltd (RC 9955767), a company registered in Nigeria. The software is built by Adewumi Studio.
